The Legend of Uncle Tom and the Bubble Car
When I saw the two category nominations for the Bubble Car post I was so glad for dear old Uncle Tom. He and his wife died in recent years aged in their eighties and without offspring - it's so easy and fast for someone like that to have their memory disappear. It's nice to think that some folk today enjoy his incident from 1963.

I got a nomination for "Best Personal Blog" and, to my total surprise, a nomination for a post I wrote in December.
I'm thinking about travelling up for the Awards night.
Hey, well done you! I doubt if I'll be shortlisted but I might go to the Awards anyway if I'm free, I haven't noticed the date it's on. It would be good to meet you.
It would be a bit surprising if you'd written "I expect to be shortlisted..."
Anyway, we'll see: Awards Event is on Saturday 3 March @ Alexander Hotel. I'm not sure what time it's at.
